HER VISION FOR DISTRICT 7
- Education First: As a former teacher and principal, she understands the challenges our education system faces. Our district reports some of the lowest literacy and numeracy proficiency. Robin knows just how to fix that. First, she will end the Department of Education bureaucracy and direct more resources into classrooms. Parents and teachers should decide what kids need, not distant bureaucrats. Professional development, teacher mentorship programs, rural education initiatives, teacher retention strategies, digital literacy programs, and curriculum overhauls are on her agenda
- Affordable, accessible, and quality healthcare for all: Alabama ranks 44th out of 50 states when it comes to healthcare and districts under the Black Belt experience worse healthcare systems than other districts in Alabama. Our counties face racial disparity, significant challenges accessing physical health care, rapid shot downs of rural hospitals, and an increasing number of underequipped hospitals. As congresswoman, Robin will work to reduce or even, nullify, these issues. She will strengthen home care services, improve rural health provision, and invest in healthcare infrastructures.
- America First: Our tax dollars should benefit our people, not be wasted overseas. She’ll fight for accountability and wise spending. Prioritizing our own citizens and create opportunities for growth within our state is her main goal.
- Transparency and Accountability: If elected, she promises to be accessible to you, the residents of AL7.
